A collection of unique posters. They are an homage to the films that defined my life and helped me become the artist I am today. Many of them I was commissioned to do for re-releases and showings of these classic flicks. Telling a story within the confines of a single image at a standardized size is always a welcomed challenge for me.
A collection of works displaying my range as a digital artist. Many are personal commissions, some are souvenir designs for work while others are just interesting ideas I had that needed to get out of my head.
A collection of designs made specifically for product packaging.
A collection of posters, portraits and other commissions I’ve had over the years.
Every once in a while I get an idea that isn’t going to go the distance as a whole poster. So I opened up my Etsy shop to stickers and started letting these little design ideas (which are really fun to create) run free in that arena. So far it’s been a very good way to keep my ideas fresh and shake things up a bit.
A collection of illustrations, designs and layouts made for the purposes of promoting products, podcasts, websites and individual performers.
Characters and logo designs for a variety of clients.
A collection of retro 80’s inspired souvenir designs. These have been renamed for dozens of clients all over the world. It is a fun, open-ended project that is an entirely new challenge and style for me.
I was hired by a Seattle area novelist to help her create the visual representation of the world she had laid out in her books. To this day, “Happily, Inc.” is one of my favorite and most gratifying projects. I took what I learned from that project and am now slowly working on characters for a post-apocalyptic video game as well as designing characters for Dungeons & Dragons campaigns.
I started in this business by drawing my own comics. As a child I couldn’t make movies, so I drew all of my stories. I fell in love with the artform and even started a small press comic company that launched me into this amazing community of artists. These are just a few samples of the 3 graphic novels and the half dozen comic books I’ve made.
Most of my work is digital… but I still use conventional techniques from time to time. And these little baseball card sized pieces are great to just mess around with.
One of my previous professions was as an estimator for a railing manufacturer. I designed instructional manuals as well as shop drawings to make many of the products we sold and installed.
